One of the reasons for the Mumbai Indians' (MI) seven-wicket loss to the Delhi Daredevils at the Wankhede on Monday was the top order's inefficient batting display. The vacuum caused by Sachin Tendulkar's absence upfront was prominent, but if skipper Harbhajan Singh is to be believed, MIsupporters can breathe a sigh of relief.
The news coming in from the MI camp is that Tendulkar is close to full fitness.“I'm sure Sachin will be back by the next game if nothing goes wrong at the nets session. Of course, it will be nice to have him back,” said Harbhajan.

Davy Jacobs opened the batting with Richard Levi against the Daredevils, and it was MI's fourth opening pair in five games. Apart from Tendulkar, T Suman and Ambati Rayudu have partnered Levi at the top, without much success. However, Tendulkar's likely return will provide the much-needed stability.“If Tendulkar is batting with any of the foreigners, it makes it easier for them to score runs. He can take a lot of pressure off the other partner,” he said.
