His visit included the Audemars Piguet Museum followed by a tour in the Manufacture des Forges where he spent time in various ateliers including the Specialities and Grand Complications. He also got the chance to ‘test and train’ his hand–eye coordination outside the field as he was guided to assemble the 3090 Audemars Piguet calibre which he successfully made it start beating strong.
“I was very happy to visit the Audemars Piguet Manufacture again as well as the magnificent VallĂ©e de Joux. I always enjoy spending time in the workshops listening to the watchmakers talk about how they make the different parts of the watch I am wearing. They are all incredibly passionate about their profession and that is what I can associate with.
